i am way too fried to be clever and write witty tongue in cheek blog posts. it has been a really intense couple of months. i'm not sure on what day i would say that the intensity started (was it april 1st when we put the house up? was it february 16th when we came to seattle to look at real estate and network? was it january 11th which was my last day of work and we started working on the house to get it ready to sell? was it last year when we decided to move in the first place?), but i will say that i'm not sure when or if it's going to end.
here are some picture of the house we will be closing on in a few weeks.
the list of things we want/need to do to it before we move in includes (but is not limited to): painting most of the interior, ripping out the tile floor and replacing with either wood or something cool, new cabinets, new stove, new dishwasher, pulling up the carpets in the bedrooms/hallway and refinishing the fir floors underneath, buying a new water heater that vents out the side of the house, dismantling chimney, tearing down some walls to open up the dining room area more.... and so forth
...and i have to find a job.
