i loved the recent episode of this american life entitled: what i learned from tv . i especially loved ira's act three: radio on the tv. i subscribe to the podcast, but you can download individual shows and listen to them on you computer (or mp3 player of choice) any old time. which i highly recommend you do, by the way.

in other news:
my poor nephew, who is weeks away from turning 8 years old, fell down yesterday while playing and lost 3 teeth. my heart goes out to him, i can't imagine how painful that must have been. the good news is that they were baby teeth, and the word on the street is that he has been terribly brave about the whole thing.
