what i wouldn't have given
to be at the cooper-hewitt national design awards after party
i was clued into this event by a post over at unbeige
and then i read michael beirut's post on design observer
(which now has me drooling over this)
i too was/am a big old school rap fan (which leans heavily on the funk)
and they lost me just after the time of NWA
& the introduction of gangsta rap
anyway, it sounds like it was a hell of a dance party
