i have a love/hate relationship with digital cameras. i LOVE the instant gratification, i HATE the unreliable nature of technology. and the not so great image quality of digital and the learning curve that i can't seem to be bothered with improving.
jak and i went for a walk yesterday and i took some really great pictures. when we got home and dropped my card into the reader to upload to flickr, there was nothing. i had shot maybe 30 or so pictures, i had viewed them on the camera screen, they were there, and then they were gone.
i had even shot some cookie pics, but they were gone too. *poof* like a puff of smoke, just gone
i am mad at my camera now. so i did not take it on our walk through the arboretum today. i don't trust it.
i really do prefer my manual, but there is the hassle of getting the film developed, and all the pictures that don't turn out that you have to pay for prints of because you can't SEE them first.
it is a battle between instant gratification and quality.
