css and action scripting

my brain hurts, and i am cranky. i am trying to figure out how to make roundy corners with a style sheet, and because i am cranky, it makes my head hurt and i am unwilling to understand
where can i locate the magic button that just makes it GO?

and then there is action scripting, for another thing i'm working on (of the flashy variety) which in many ways is along the same lines as CSS, but is different in syntax.

who pays any attention to the syntax of things?
